me: I graduated
at the University of Messina, and there started as a research student,
spending a few years abroad. I began my proper University career at
the University of Bologna in 1980, where I was appointed "Ricercatore"
at the Faculty of Magistero and then, from 1984, at the Faculty of Lettere.
There I taught several courses until 1998 when, on winning a national
concourse, I was appointed Associate Professor of English at the Faculty
of Lingue, University of Urbino, where I still teach. I am a
member of the following academic and cultural associations: My present research interests also cover literary hermeneutics, post modern and postcolonial narrative, the relationship between literature and media, the short story and its forms.
